Shalom, Motherfucker. Artist’s edition.

More than a decade ago, Eitan Chitayat wrote Shalom Motherfucker as a response to antisemitism, double standards, and the people who disappear when you need them to stand beside you.

For this Artist Edition, artist Shonna Drew puts her own hand to Eitan’s words, transforming the original statement with her unmistakable hand-drawn style. Same sentiment. Entirely different expression.

The result is a collaboration between two artists, one message, and absolutely no interest in making it more polite.

Sometimes shalom means hello. Sometimes it means goodbye.
