Shalom Al Yisrael, Hebrew for “Peace upon Israel,” transforms a longing for unity into a vivid prayer for peace.

Created by Israeli artist Dar-Ya Naomi in the aftermath of October 7, the watercolor and pen work emerged from a time of profound turbulence and a desire for connection despite conflict and division. Sweeping lines, golden hills, and layers of brilliant blue surround the Hebrew words Shalom Al Yisrael, giving movement and color to a deeply personal prayer.

The result holds resilience and longing side by side, making space for reconciliation, renewal, and the hope for peace.

Faith, In Full Color

Dar-Ya Naomi is an Israeli artist whose vibrant work explores prayer, spirituality, and Jewish tradition through hand-drawn lines and watercolor. A survivor of the Nova Music Festival, she returned to art in the aftermath of October 7 as a way to process, heal, and reconnect with faith.

Her work is part of the ESEK Nova Collection, supporting survivor artists as they rebuild their creative lives and livelihoods.
