Chai (חי) means “life” in Hebrew. Its letters add up to 18, a number that has become synonymous with blessing, giving, and wishing someone a good life in Jewish tradition.

Eitan Chitayat’s Chai Crop Hoodie takes one of Judaism’s most recognizable symbols and puts it on a relaxed, cropped silhouette with dropped shoulders and a raw hem. Simple, unmistakably Jewish, and carrying considerably more than two little letters should reasonably be able to hold.
